K9 Chewie - Victim Services

The Trauma Support K9 program provides a specially trained Service Dog to comfort victims of crime and tragedy in the Nipissing region.

Chewie also supports Emergency Services personnel and is an active member of the North Bay and District Critical Incident Stress Team Inc.

Chewie is a yellow Labrador Retriever who was generously donated and trained by the Citadel Canine Society and is partnered with a certified K9 Handler/Trainer.
